In this animated explainer, we play with the concept of climate solutions as practical building blocks for systemic change. Kode21 works on how these elements can be strategically combined to transform the way we design, moving from extractive practices toward regenerative, future-proof solutions.
For this animation, we set out to create a fun and accessible visual language that could make complex climate concepts feel optimistic, practical and playful. We translated climate solutions into modular building blocks: simple, flexible forms that could be stacked, connected, and reconfigured.
This approach allowed us to visualize systems in an intuitive way, one that speaks to imagination, bringing abstract ideas to life through movement and interaction.
